Ocean View: Fabulous Views, No Doubt.

I feel like my shoe mood has been so all over the board lately. With so much travel and packing/repacking, feel like I wear the same shoes constantly. But more recently, I've been in the mood for serious platforms.. and these are no joke. I give you the 'Ocean View' from Poetic Licence.





These platforms have quickly become one of my favorite pairs of summer sandals. I wear them with everything! The gray coloring allows them to be neutral and the pop of purple is enough to pop but not be obnoxious. They don't "fight" with what you're wearing.. I guess that's the best way for me to put it. No one wants a fight in the morning...especially not with their shoes.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but work has been an evil bitch lately stealing all my precious time to myself.. but I have a few new loves to post that you will forgive me after seeing...I'm positive. Yep.

The Eighties are Back, Bitches. Sort of.

Yeah, so @Anntastic23 and I were discussing purses this past week... and how we prefer our favorite designers, but then also how we would sometimes rather carry our less known designer purses. Why, you might ask? Why would we want to do that? Well, the idea of having something that is intriguing to the unknown eye is always a plus.. also, the unknown designers, who produce some of the best quality purses and other accessories in the market place can also give you that edge amongst your friends that separates you. *gasp!* How dare you separate from the "pack"! I know... so wrong! *Ginormous freakin' eye roll*

That is simply the idea. Be different. Embrace that edge. Run to that edge as fast as you can. Put away the *coughsCoachcoughs* bags that everyone else and their four year old daughter has to match. Put them all away. Better yet, give them to charity or Ebay them so you can buy new under-the-radar bags.

With all that said... I was at my moms house not too long ago, and I found this jewel. Yeah. You may love it. You may hate it and call me a complete fashion moron. Whatever. At least I'm not sporting the same bag as everyone else on the block or the next two tweens walking past you on the street. Really, how cool are you? Yeah.. I went there.

Hot N Heavy... Hey, I didn't name them.

To finally return home, was bliss, but to come home to lots of new shoes at my door was like multiple shoegasms. One pair in particular, really got me goin'.. Seriously. You know the shoeporn providers are evil when they go so far as to name a shoe 'Hot N Heavy'. And I bought it in red. *fans self*

Now some of you may, look at these and underestimate them completely. Well, I pity you. Totally. These Italian designed hurrache-styled gladiators are beyond drool worthy. They are the unexpected sensual sandal that will catch all of your shoewhore friends off guard. Promise you that.



What do you wear these lovelies with? Think walking shorts.. think skirts- short and long.. think 'jeggings' (jean + leggings= jeggings), skinny jeans, funky acid washed skinny leg jeans- I dare ya!



I love the demi wedge on these girls.. sooo comfortable.. yeah.. I know not my typical concern with shoes, but I can appreciate comfort when I find it.

I realize, lately, I've been slightly out of of pocket and I apologize. Things have been so hectic, but I wanted to share a few pictures from my travels. These three are from this past week when I was in New York for a brief 2 seconds. Literally. I flew in on Sunday night, and flew back out Tuesday night. I know you are all jealous.
